B.— MÉD., vx. Transformation des aliments dans l'estomac; digestion.
— P. métaph. Imitons Joanny, piquons un petit somme favorable à la concoction des inquiétudes, à la résolution ou à l'oubli des problèmes (A. ARNOUX, Rêverie d'un policier amateur, 1945, p. 218).
